Messaging and calling program

1. Program description

This program sends text messages and places calls to people who have requested a free in-home estimate from Development Dream Home Inc. through our website, our scheduling forms, or our advertising, and who have explicitly opted in.

Opt-in happens through a checkbox on our forms. The checkbox is never pre-ticked, and consent is not a condition of purchasing anything from us. Messages include:

• Appointment confirmations, reminders, reschedules and cancellations
• Marketing and promotional messages following up on your project enquiry
• Customer support communications

2. Automated and AI-assisted calls

An automated AI assistant may call you to help schedule your estimate. The assistant identifies itself as an AI at the beginning of the call, and will confirm plainly that it is an AI if you ask at any point during the call. It will never claim to be a human being. A real person from Development Dream Home Inc. attends your estimate.

You can decline at any point during the call, or ask not to be called again, and we will honor that.

3. Message frequency

Frequency varies depending on where you are in the process. Our follow-up program sends up to approximately 12 text messages over a 65-day period, and stops earlier if you book an appointment, reply, or opt out. Appointment-related messages are sent as needed.

4. How to cancel

Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time. You will receive one confirmation message, after which no further messages will be sent unless you sign up again. To stop automated calls, tell the assistant during the call or contact us directly.

5. Support

6. Carrier liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply to messages we send you and messages you send us. Contact your wireless provider for details of your plan.

8. Supported carriers

Our messaging program is supported on major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most regional carriers.

9. Age restriction

You must be 18 years or older to participate.

10. Compliance

We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), applicable state law, and CTIA messaging guidelines. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

Estimates and quotes

The in-home estimate is provided at no cost and carries no obligation. Any figures discussed during or after an estimate are proposals, not binding contracts. Work begins only under a signed written contract, and the terms of that contract govern the work itself. Nothing on this website forms a contract for construction services.

Availability of appointment times is not guaranteed until confirmed by us. We serve North County San Diego and may decline projects outside our service area or outside the scope of work we perform.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Development Dream Home Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. This does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded under California law, and does not affect your rights under any signed construction contract with us.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Development Dream Home Inc. and its officers, employees and contractors against claims arising from your breach of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to this website without notice for breach of these Terms or for conduct we consider inappropriate.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising under these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Diego County, California.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with its effective date.
